A Christian Education

Your child’s Christian education is one of the most important investments you can make.

Since the majority of a child’s day is spent at school, it’s important to consider the influence a school has on his or her life. The school environment has a great impact on how a child develops.

The goal of any school is to educate children about life, the world, and their purpose in it. Lifeway Lead Academy seeks to teach children about the world God created, how our faith is woven into each area of learning, and how to find purpose and meaning through God’s Will for our life. We believe that only through an understanding of God, His Word, and His works, can we know the truth and show His love to those around us.

A Christian education isn’t just having a Bible class in addition to regular classes, but an integration of a biblical worldview into every class. In a science class, students may learn about how God’s handiwork is seen in the natural laws and design of the world; in physical education, they may learn about setting a Christ-like example both on and off the playground. Through every experience, the students learn that following God isn’t limited to one area of life.

Affording Private Education

The fact of the matter is that private schooling isn’t cheap. It makes more sense, from a strictly financial point of view, to consider public education instead, seeing as we already pay school taxes. Many families appreciate what a Christian school has to offer, but hesitate to apply due to the financial commitment.

We believe that if it is God’s will that your children attend LLA, He will make a way. This may sound a bit cliché, but it’s true. It may mean unexpected income, such as a bonus or a raise at work, or it could mean learning to cut back on certain expenses. A scholarship or financial support could be available through your church. The opportunities for provision are there. Our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50), and he owns the hills, too.

Choosing a school is a big decision any way you look at it. The right school will encourage your child to succeed and enrich his/her understanding of God. We know “…that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). Ultimately, our hope and prayer is that God guides your family to make the decision that will best help your child grow in his or her faith and knowledge of Christ.

What is Continuous Enrollment?

Once you enroll your child(ren) at LLA, you do nothing to re-enroll for future academic years. You will be assessed a non-refundable Annual Student Commitment Fee per student in April. This fee secures your child’s seat for the following academic year and allows the school to plan accordingly.

If your child(ren) currently attends LLA and will not return for the upcoming school year, you must complete the Decline Re-Enrollment Form by March 15 of each year to avoid paying the Annual Student Commitment Fee and a fee equivalent to 10 percent of your child’s annual tuition costs.

What are the fees?

As stated above, the Annual Student Commitment Fee will be billed to each student’s SchoolCues account after April 1, 2023Students who withdraw after the March 15 deadline will be billed the Annual Student Commitment Fee and a fee equivalent to 10 percent of your student’s 2024-2025 tuition.

Are new students charged the Annual Student Commitment Fee?

No, new students applying to attend Lifeway Lead Academy are not charged this fee. It’s only applied to current students returning the following academic year.

Why is it important to let the school know if we plan to withdraw?

Withdrawals have a significant impact on our upcoming school year. Plans are made well in advance for staffing, programming, materials, curriculum, and facility usage based on the number of students we expect for the school year. We strive to be fiscally responsible and to make wise decisions regarding our resources. For example, we make teacher hiring decisions each spring based on the number of students expected in each grade.

Also, the demand for Lead Academy has led us to create waitlists for some grades. It is important for us to know if a student is not returning so that we can notify waiting families that a seat is available for the following year.

Do I still need to contact the Admissions Office for any other reason?

Yes, there are circumstances that do require you to contact our Admissions Office. For example, please notify the Admissions Office about any changes in your student’s enrollment. Also keep us informed whenever you change addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses, or have a change in marital status and name, so we can keep our records accurate and up to date.
